Available to all, we know that many yachtsmen are worried by stories of being
charged excessive amounts of money after being '' helped'' when in a difficult
situation. So with YACHT ASSIST
we make it clear what the charges will be , before you call us.
Use the attached table
Charge rates
To find the
cost of Yacht assist sending a mechanic to your boat, this price includes
up to one hour on board, in which time your problem will either be solved or the
engineer will suggest what further action should be taken. you can then decide
what you would like to do without further obligation to Yacht Assist.
After one hour on board any additional time is charged
at the unit rate (1hr = 1 unit).
If extra time is taken using a boat an additional
charge of €2 per mile to cover the cost of fuel etc.
No Membership required:
Yacht Assist is available
to all. No Membership or advance registration is required,
Yacht Assist is a pay
as you go service. this means that responsible owners with properly
maintained craft do not have to subsidize those who are less well prepared, and
you don't have to pay for a service that you are unlikely to need.
Seamiles: This is a loyalty
scheme for CYS account customers, Units are awarded according to the account
turnover, So a yacht owner who has had paid for good preventative maintenance,
will have some free YA units to use in the unlikely event that they have a problem.
At the end of the season, for yacht owners who winter
with CYS, any unused units can go towards their winter engine lay up.(
this preventative maintenance will be good preparation for the next season).

call outs are to charter yachts, Our service is an efficient and cost
effective way for a charter fleet to assist their customers.
Yacht
Assist have Greek, English & German. speaking mechanics. who with their
professional appearance are able to present a good impression of the charter
company, and even the most frustrated customers, soon realize that they
are being well looked after.
It is very
expensive and time consuming for a charter fleet operator to own and maintain a
chase boat and have a skilled mechanic on standby. If you represent a charter
